The Conflict Resolution Class is a research-based course which teaches about the importance of dispute resolution strategies during moments of conflict and tension. As adults, it can be very difficult to self-regulate emotions when at odds with others. So imagine what children go through during moments of conflict with other peers or even adults.

This course draws on the teachings of Joyce Hocker and William Wilmot, as they help us to understand the nature of conflict and best-practices related to resolving conflict when it arises. Instructors will teach coping strategies, behaviors, and communication styles that will help to combat growing tension during moments of conflict.
